I am a 15 year old male and i plan on joing my highschool ski team. I have been skiing for quite some time but never too seriously. I was wondering what exercises or routines i can do to get myself in shape and work skiing muscles before i have to try out for the ski team?

Some of the most important excercises are squats and lunges. These strengthen the upper and lower leg muscles. They also strengthen the muscles around the knees, which helps prevent knee injuries. If you have never raced before, the key is to stay loose and warm as possible while waiting for your run.

Run trails before the snow flies. Especially downhill, work on quick direction changes.

Trail running is great overall exercise, but especially beneficial for skiers.

you're absolutley suitable. by utilising famous thigh-burning exercising is staying power squatting. you're taking 2 dumbells(in spite of weight fits you) and do squats with them at your sides. Do 50-a hundred of those an afternoon, and by utilising February 6th, you will beat your friends down the hill. wish this enables.
