What is beneath my skis. Powder of course, Ice is nice, crud is usually in the spring and the Bota Bag and the Bikinis are out, slush is time for the slush cup and a beer on the far side of the pond, crust can be dangerous so it's time for a bar break.

Packed powder is my favorite, from 20 to 30 degrees farenheit. Perfect.
