Last year I went skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado and loved it. This year, I'm going to Telluride. How does it compare? I'm a fairly advanced skiier. Also, any tips or info you would like to share about Telluride are great!

I have been to both locations several times in the past year and i can tell you to expect a more quaint experience at T-ride, which in my opinion is a good thing compared to the condos on top of condos at Breck. Hopefully T-ride has good snow while your there and you can access everything they have to offer. I would think Telluride has was more vertical feet compared to Breck, and way more black runs, not to say hard terrain cant be found at Breck (t-bar/upper imperial bowl) The new gondola at telluride is awesome, and the city itself looks like it was planned by Norman Rockwell, beautiful. You wont be disapointed.

They both have about the same amount of skiable terrain, Breck is about 300 acres bigger. In my opinion, Telluride's atmosphere is much more laid back and the snow is usually better, but it's hard to beat the top of peaks 7 and 8 at Breck. You can't go wrong with either one, they are both damn nice places.
Breck and Telluride are pretty comparable when it comes to terrain, but for advanced/expert I'd give the edge to T-ride.

Breckenridge has been rated higher than Telluride but they are both great. I think if you have the choice cancel Telluride and head up to Whistler. They have the best skiing in the wold. (my opinion)
